Really enjoyed this property. We stayed in Room 23 which was on the end and had access to a nice view of the Mountains. Unfortunately the one night that we were there was cloudy so couldn't see the stars late at night. The room was very large and spacious and everything was clean and comfortable. Check in and out went super smooth and the communication was excellent. Would recommend and stay again.

Cool, thanks for that Willard. Sorry to hear about the cloudy evening......just one of those things I suppose. One day you should come back and spend a few more days up is a magical place.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel! It was clean and set up great for a family of 4. Lovely view and an easy walk to restaurants and a playground for the kids. Had all the amenities we needed to make breakfast. Would highly recommend!

Thanks so much Shannon for your review and positive comments. It is a great spot and we are pleased that you enjoyed youselves up here.

Fabulous 3 days at Xmas. Very accommodating hosts at this busy time. Spacious room and very clean. All you could want in the way of facilities. Room 19 toilet may require some attention soon.

Thanks Chris for the heads up re; the WC. We will get onto that straight away. Good to hear you enjoyed your stay with us. All the best.

Our 2 night stay in a 2-bedroom unit was great! It was clean and comfortable. But as with many other 2-bedroom units we encountered on our 2-week Tour, this also has only one bathroom. The other (minor) issue was that the 2-bedroom units face the side of each building, hence you’d have to drag your luggage around the corner from where you park your car, unlike in other units where you park your car right in front of your room. It’s a minor inconvenience. On the whole, we were very happy with our stay!

Thanks Calvin for your comments and yes we do agree re: the bathroom but normally these units are used for families and it is not really an issue. Agreed it can be when there are two couples staying there! As for the layout and access, we were constrained with the design by wanting to maximise the views from the living areas. Yes when it is raining it is an issue! Otherwise we are pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us. Thank you.

We stayed for two nights mid December. The room was clean, modern, well-appointed and cozy. All staff were friendly and accommodating. When in Mt Cook again, we will definitely stay again, and quite possibly for longer. There is so much more exploring to be done.

Thank you Leisa for your nice words. We would love to have you back staying with us in the future. All the best

We stayed at Room 23 on 28 Oct 2019. It was spacious, has excellent view and well maintained. The floor heating facility is a big plus! The guest laundry was also extremely helpful after our Hooker Valley hike in the rain. Thanks a lot to Paul for being super energetic when delivering our breakfast :).

Cheers Jeffrey for your review. Many thanks for this.

Hotel room is great. Spacious, clean, comfortable, excellent view. One issue is that they wrote a warning in the room and also asked you to sign a T&C’s saying you will not cook salmon, seafood, spicy food, or anything with strong odor. That was very vague and has different standards between different people. They have a fully equipped kitchen and there is not many places to eat outside (2 restaurants and one is the overpriced Hermitage). So we were very cautious of what we can and cannot cook. Because you know, even instant noodle and eggs have odor when being cooked. So what we can or cannot cooked?

Thanks Wendraso for your review. We have had many instances of guests cooking salmon and currys with all the windows and doors takes us days just to air out the units. Apologies if our instructions seemed vague but we are trying to put people on notice that sometimes it may not be a good idea to rock up and do a massive cook up, similar to what you might do back home. We reserve the right to charge for loss of income if the smell is so bad that we just cannot resell the unit the following day or days. Noodles and eggs yes will have a slight odour but nothing like what a curry or salmon can do. Just be aware of consequential smells next time. Thank you for your understanding.

An awesome place to stay in the heart of Mt Cook. Staff was very welcoming and was full of information. The rooms very clean & very comfy beds. Has a little kitchenette which was great to cook your own meals. Rooms cleaned every day & replaced with fresh towels. The views from our room was stunning. Walking tracks everywhere and the views and ice covered mountain peaks were spectacular, especially the icebergs on Tasman Lake. Not far from the helicopter rides which I did landed on the snow on top of the mountain. An experience that I will not forget. Highly recommend staying here if planning on doing a lot of walks.

Thank you Roxanne for your kind words. It is a breathtaking place to visit isn't it? Safe travels.

Our stay could not have been better. We shared a two bedroom unit with our son and daughter-in-law. The unit was VERY clean and well equipped. Paul helped us get organized and settled quickly. The view was stunning. The location was perfect - so close to walks in Hooker Valley and Tasman Valley. And a short walk to dinner choices. We loved this place.

Hi there Richard. Thanks for the review. Brilliant to hear you were so happy with the Village and your stay with us. Safe travels.
