Enjoyed our one night stay. Accommodation very comfortable with everything we needed. Lovely bathroom with nice toiletries, spa bath, comfy bed and, of course, beautiful location. 😁😁

Thank you, Liz, for your wonderful review. Safe travels.

This is one easy review, this place is great, hosts are great, room with full kitchen supplies is great, view from the room is spectacular, perfect location, squeaky clean. As you can tell we enjoyed our stay, we can’t forget to give a shout out to Rex and Fiona, it’s obvious they love what they do.

Cheers Mike for your lovely comments. Thank you. Great to have you staying with us. Safe travels.

Clean, comfortable, great views from the unit we had. Thanks!

Thanks Piers for your review.

Great unit but did not sleep well because of pillow choices- either extremely large or enormous. By the time I discovered this it was nearly 11.25 and I did not want to trouble you at this time.

Sorry to hear about that Ran/Maria. I hope you managed to get to sleep after all. We will look into providing a pillow menu in the future. Thanks

Great place to stay, we stayed in Room 11 which had a great view of Mount Sefton (so stunning). Units were immaculate and the staff very friendly, including the native ducks which kept tapping on the sliding window. Would definitely stay again!!!!

Thank you, Linda, for your lovely review.

Fabulous accommodation in a fantastic location. Would definitely return for a longer stay. Only one suggestion, please provide smaller coffee cups for use with the coffee machine. The lovely big mugs you do provide won’t fit.

Good point, thanks for this advice and we will definitely look into doing that. Regards.

The two bedroom suite was very nice. Great location right by the Hooker Valley Track. Modern appliances, fresh and clean. We did feel misled regarding the NZ15$ ā€œcontinental breakfastā€ which consisted of packets of cereal and juice and bread slices left in our room at check-in. Had the nature of the breakfast been made more clear there is no way we would have spent the 45$ for the three of us. We would happily stay there again and skip the breakfast.

Thank you, Lisa, for your review. we can only apologize if that was not made entirely clear to you. We hope you enjoyed your overall experience with us. All the best.

Advise to book directly with provider as booking in advance through a 3rd party for our honeymoon did not match expectations. I had asked for a unit with view and was very disappointed when we arrived to get one that had view of unit in front. The hosts found a much better unit and I am very grateful .

Hi Christine, yes please always book direct as we can then accommodate any request/query that you may have……and at a cheaper price than an OTA! Good to hear the issue was resolved and I hope the honeymoon went well. Thanks.

What a lovely stay We are so happy to select Aoraki Court Motel for the two nights we spent at Mout Cook because the room is so clean, warm and spacious. The view was WOW. Fiona and Rex provided everything we needed, but we didn’t cook inside the room because we didn’t want to make such a lovely room smelly. We highly recommend Aoraki Court Motel if you want to enjoy the beauty of Mout Cook.

Great Location This was a nice place to stay, it had good kitchen facilities to use as there aren’t many options to eat at Mt Aoraki, lots of room plus clean and tidy. The views from our unit were just fantastic!!!!

DO NOT STAY. CREEPY, UNPROFESSIONAL, RACIST. Do not stay: creepy and unprofessional management. After arriving at Aoraki Court Motel after a long drive, the managers were openly racist. At check in, the manager noted ā€œdon’t cook odorous foods, ESPECIALLY CURRYā€ as he looked up at me, an Indian American. As we unpacked, we noticed the same manager staring and leering at us peeking out from the corner of the building, especially at the girls in our group from the side of the property. It was clear he went out of his way to come and look at us unpack. We felt so uncomfortable that we had to close our blinds the entire time because we caught him trying to peek in. As for the hotel itself, the facilities were fine (except for the broken refrigerator) but the hotel will try to nickel and dime you for everything. You get charged for using the coffee maker; cleaning fees are at the hotel’s sole discretion; and many more. It may seem like a deal at booking but you’ll get screwed on the back end.Never in my life have I experienced such a lack of hospitality at a hotel. I’m not sure if the manager was having a bad day or is just casually racist and potentially a pervert. We left as soon as the reception opened the next morning. Stay at literally any other property and you’ll have a great time a Mt. Cook.

Very clean, spacious and with a fantastic view of the mountains. I had the jacuzzi room, room 9. Fiona is very welcoming, warm and hospitable. The room includes a handy folder which orientates you to the locale with maps, trails and other essential details. The room is very spacious, with a decently sized kitchen/pantry by the entrance equipped with cutleries and kitchenware. There’s also a nice study next to the bed. The room just felt really roomy and there was so much space paired with the large windows. It just felt like a worthwhile experience, almost too much to experience alone on my own. This would be a great room to share with a couple or a couple of friends. The nature of the layout meant, however, that I could not keep the curtains open all the time since everyone would be able to see whatever I am doing in my room. (My room was facing the entrant doors and the parking lots of various other motels)The toilet of this space was the highlight since that’s where the jacuzzi tub was. I only booked this room because all the other rooms were fully booked. Still, I could not resist enjoying a bubbling hot tub soak on a cold winter night. It’s a nice heart-shaped tub that’s good for two, even better for one since I had the entire tub to myself. The jets were powerful, and most importantly, the tub was very clean! The water and heating were fantastic, the water got hot quickly even on a cold winter night. The toilet and the entrance was tiled, but they were heated which made for a nice experience walking around barefooted. Every morning, I’d wake up to the ever-changing alpine landscape above. I feel safe and warm from my stay here, and would recommend others to give this motel a try as well.

Stunning views from our Executive Spa Studio We really enjoyed our stay here and opted for a front view Executive Spa studio and stayed in #24. As soon as we entered the studio our jaws dropped because the views are so stunning! As it was end of June there was snow on the mountains. We were also lucky to be blessed with excellent weather. The studio was lovely and warm and bed was medium/soft and comfortable. I loved having a kitchenette to make a simple dinner at night and a bacon and egg breakfast in the morning. There’s a microwave, toaster, kettle plus 2 electric rings to cook on. Tea and coffee sachets are provided and a small carton of milk and pepper and salt. There was no underfloor heating in our bathroom but the spa bath and shower was excellent. Mt Cook village is tiny. So don’t expect shops or petrol station etc. But the drive there and back is amazing. Plus the main reason we stayed there was to walk the Hooker Valley Track. The scenery is out of this world and as the sun was shining the lakes looked turquoise. It’s a 3hr walk there and back and so worth it. Wrap up warm in winter! Don’t hesitate to book here, you are sure to enjoy yourselves.

Totally recommend this place for a stay! The room was really comfortable with a king sized bed and a well equipped kitchen. Excellent location with beautiful views of snow capped mountains and valley. Easy access to the information centre and not far from the hermitage for dinner or a drink.

Good option to be close to trails in Mt. Cook We weren’t able to get into The Hermitage and this was a good option to still be close by. Rooms were clean. Felt that it was a bit pricey for the accommodation, but you’re paying for location, which was excellent.
