We stayed at Room 23 on 28 Oct 2019. It was spacious, has excellent view and well maintained. The floor heating facility is a big plus! The guest laundry was also extremely helpful after our Hooker Valley hike in the rain. Thanks a lot to Paul for being super energetic when delivering our breakfast :).
Cheers Jeffrey for your review. Many thanks for this.
Hotel room is great. Spacious, clean, comfortable, excellent view. One issue is that they wrote a warning in the room and also asked you to sign a T&C’s saying you will not cook salmon, seafood, spicy food, or anything with strong odor. That was very vague and has different standards between different people. They have a fully equipped kitchen and there is not many places to eat outside (2 restaurants and one is the overpriced Hermitage). So we were very cautious of what we can and cannot cook. Because you know, even instant noodle and eggs have odor when being cooked. So what we can or cannot cooked?
Thanks Wendraso for your review. We have had many instances of guests cooking salmon and currys with all the windows and doors shut....it takes us days just to air out the units. Apologies if our instructions seemed vague but we are trying to put people on notice that sometimes it may not be a good idea to rock up and do a massive cook up, similar to what you might do back home. We reserve the right to charge for loss of income if the smell is so bad that we just cannot resell the unit the following day or days. Noodles and eggs yes will have a slight odour but nothing like what a curry or salmon can do. Just be aware of consequential smells next time. Thank you for your understanding.
An awesome place to stay in the heart of Mt Cook. Staff was very welcoming and was full of information. The rooms very clean & very comfy beds. Has a little kitchenette which was great to cook your own meals. Rooms cleaned every day & replaced with fresh towels. The views from our room was stunning. Walking tracks everywhere and the views and ice covered mountain peaks were spectacular, especially the icebergs on Tasman Lake. Not far from the helicopter rides which I did landed on the snow on top of the mountain. An experience that I will not forget. Highly recommend staying here if planning on doing a lot of walks.
Thank you Roxanne for your kind words. It is a breathtaking place to visit isn't it? Safe travels.
Our stay could not have been better. We shared a two bedroom unit with our son and daughter-in-law. The unit was VERY clean and well equipped. Paul helped us get organized and settled quickly. The view was stunning. The location was perfect - so close to walks in Hooker Valley and Tasman Valley. And a short walk to dinner choices. We loved this place.
Hi there Richard. Thanks for the review. Brilliant to hear you were so happy with the Village and your stay with us. Safe travels.
Lovely hosts made us felt so welcome and comforted as soon as we checked in, and gave us some useful tips on the area. The view from our room was absolutely breathtaking. Highly recommend.
Thanks so much Lexi. Great to hear from you and yes we have great views in ALL directions don't we? We are so lucky.
Our date of stay was 23 Oct 2019 and we stayed in Room 5 which was extremely clean and spacious, had great views to the surrounding mountains, had very comfortable beds and pillows, had a very well appointed kitchen and the cherry on the top was the floor heating in the kitchen and bathroom. Very friendly and helpful staff as well. Superb!
Cool, thanks for this Jan. Really nice to hear such warm comments from guests and pleased to hear you were comfortable and enjoyed yourselves during your stay with us. Many thanks.
Booked a room for 2 and 5, room is in excellent condition, great views from every window inside, what exceed my expectation is they have provided rice cooker and Jacuzzi in our 5 persons room which worth for the money. Definitely will revisit in future.
Thanks Ashton for taking the time to write these comments, much appreciated. Safe travels back to Auckland.
We had a very good time at the Aoraki Court motel. The room was big and very clean. The guy in the front desk was very helpful in everything we needed. The motel location is perfect, close to every attraction in the area, and close to a nice restaurant bar (only 4 minutes walk in case of snow). Kedem
Thanks Kedem for your review. Great to have you staying with us and hopefully all rested. Cheers

Thank you for your ncie comments. Enjoy New Zealand!
I loved my stay so much I wish I could have stayed longer! I never got to use the jacuzzi bath 😬. The room was super clean and really nicely furnished. Everything from appliances to toiletries were of a high standard. I was welcomed with open arms, and even got offered a room to shower after I’d checked out and ran the Aoraki marathon in the freezing rain. Oh and the view, wow looking over to Mount Cook was specoal. All in all an amazing stay, thank you
Hi there Nolwenn. You did the marathon? Wow, great effort and I hear the weather was miserable for the run only to improve that afternoon with the sun shining. Thanks so much for your nice words. We would love to have you back staying with us one day. Great stuff and many thanks.
