Overall, enjoyable stay with amazing views of mount cook. The room itself was basic, clean, and spacious. It lacked some cooking items, such as basic oils and butter, which I’d expect in this price range. All in all, my family and I would probably stay here again if in Mt Cook area due to accessibility to the park walks and price range of similar offerings.

Hi Laura and thanks for your review. We don't necessary provide oils and other cooking items, we are not an Airbnb. Most of our guests would eat out at one of the restaurants within the Village and not cook a main meal in the unit. Yes, we have kitchens, but they are more for basic food prep and consumption. Safe travels and all the best.

Rex and Fiona, thank you so much for a wonderful weekend! We loved being there when it snowed and you were so accommodating with the slightly later check out time due to road conditions. We will definitely re-book with you again the next time we come to Mount Cook!

Thanks, Debbie, for your nice words. The weather can make for treacherous driving so it was good that we were able to accommodate your late check out request. See you soon.

Had a great 4 night stay in a studio room. Plenty of space for 2. Very comfortable room with all you needed for a self contained stay. Lovely hosts and staff. Will definitely be back.

Thank you, Ros, for your appreciative comments. It is wonderful to heard back from guests such as yourselves. Safe travels.

Lovely comfortable room and stunning location. Only negative was the following morning we went to have a coffee before checking out and we were late back to the room by 10 minutes. We found all our possessions including a laptop and I pad out the front door. No phone call to see how far away we were, come on staff we were 10 minutes late, terrible service. I didn’t complain at the time as I didn’t want to spoil what had been an amazing time enjoying Mt Cook .

Thanks, Wendy, for your nice review. I can only apologize for any inconvenience and miscommunication this may have caused. We needed to get our housekeeping staff into the room as soon as we could as we had a full day of arrivals. Yes, we could have handled this better and do appreciate your review and the time you have taken to make us aware of this. Safe travels and hopefully one day we will see you again with us. Take care.

We stayed in one of the two bedroom suites which was perfect for the three of us. There is plenty of space, parking was right outside our unit, and views from every direction were awesome! The staff were very friendly and helpful. We would have loved to stay longer if we had more time! Thank you for a lovely visit!

Hello Jeannette and thank you for this review. We hope you are having a great time travelling New Zealand. Take care.

Rex & Fiona, I can see why you chose this gorgeous place. Absolutely wow!! The room was perfect, well cleaned, comfortable, warm, quiet, amazing views. Only downside, you weren’t here but Sharlene looked after us well. Thank you, hope to be back some day. 😊😊

Thanks, Helen, for your kind review. Take care and safe travels.

A lovely new modern motel room with reasonable space. Plenty of power points and comfortable beds and pillows. Despite the cold weather it was warm and cosy inside. The bathroom was great with good lighting and there were also grey washers for removing makeup which was such a wonderful idea. We brought our own food but the kitchenette was adequately stocked for cooking. Small Nespresso machine was very welcome. Check in and out was easy and very friendly staff. Fresh milk was provided plus suggestions about local walks. Very Happy and would return.

Hi Lorraine, thank you for your lovely review. Great to hear from you and that you had a wonderful time staying with us. All the best.

L’appartement pour 4 est parfaitement fonctionnel et parfait pour un court séjour, y compris avec une kitchenette parfaitement bien équipée. Quant au ménage il est parfaitement fait ce qui mérite d’être souligné.

Merci Thierry. See you again one day.

We had a wonderful time during our stay at your motel. The room was incredibly spacious, and the beds were so comfortable that it was hard to leave them in the morning. Moreover, the motel’s location near the trails, visitors center, and the breathtaking views of Mount Cook made our experience even more enjoyable. If I may offer a suggestion, having essential items like olive oil and spices in the kitchenette would have enhanced our cooking experience with the ingredients that were for sale at the mini store at the reception office. It’s just a thought that would make the stay even better.

Thanks William, good to hear that you had a lovely stay with us. Yoru suggestion is something that we will discuss. Enjoy the rest of your stay here in New Zealand. All the best.

What a lovely stay We are so happy to select Aoraki Court Motel for the two nights we spent at Mout Cook because the room is so clean, warm and spacious. The view was WOW. Fiona and Rex provided everything we needed, but we didn't cook inside the room because we didn't want to make such a lovely room smelly. We highly recommend Aoraki Court Motel if you want to enjoy the beauty of Mout Cook.

Great Location This was a nice place to stay, it had good kitchen facilities to use as there aren't many options to eat at Mt Aoraki, lots of room plus clean and tidy. The views from our unit were just fantastic!!!!

DO NOT STAY. CREEPY, UNPROFESSIONAL, RACIST. Do not stay: creepy and unprofessional management. After arriving at Aoraki Court Motel after a long drive, the managers were openly racist. At check in, the manager noted “don’t cook odorous foods, ESPECIALLY CURRY” as he looked up at me, an Indian American. As we unpacked, we noticed the same manager staring and leering at us peeking out from the corner of the building, especially at the girls in our group from the side of the property. It was clear he went out of his way to come and look at us unpack. We felt so uncomfortable that we had to close our blinds the entire time because we caught him trying to peek in. As for the hotel itself, the facilities were fine (except for the broken refrigerator) but the hotel will try to nickel and dime you for everything. You get charged for using the coffee maker; cleaning fees are at the hotel’s sole discretion; and many more. It may seem like a deal at booking but you’ll get screwed on the back end.Never in my life have I experienced such a lack of hospitality at a hotel. I’m not sure if the manager was having a bad day or is just casually racist and potentially a pervert. We left as soon as the reception opened the next morning. Stay at literally any other property and you’ll have a great time a Mt. Cook.

Very clean, spacious and with a fantastic view of the mountains. I had the jacuzzi room, room 9. Fiona is very welcoming, warm and hospitable. The room includes a handy folder which orientates you to the locale with maps, trails and other essential details. The room is very spacious, with a decently sized kitchen/pantry by the entrance equipped with cutleries and kitchenware. There's also a nice study next to the bed. The room just felt really roomy and there was so much space paired with the large windows. It just felt like a worthwhile experience, almost too much to experience alone on my own. This would be a great room to share with a couple or a couple of friends. The nature of the layout meant, however, that I could not keep the curtains open all the time since everyone would be able to see whatever I am doing in my room. (My room was facing the entrant doors and the parking lots of various other motels)The toilet of this space was the highlight since that's where the jacuzzi tub was. I only booked this room because all the other rooms were fully booked. Still, I could not resist enjoying a bubbling hot tub soak on a cold winter night. It's a nice heart-shaped tub that's good for two, even better for one since I had the entire tub to myself. The jets were powerful, and most importantly, the tub was very clean! The water and heating were fantastic, the water got hot quickly even on a cold winter night. The toilet and the entrance was tiled, but they were heated which made for a nice experience walking around barefooted. Every morning, I'd wake up to the ever-changing alpine landscape above. I feel safe and warm from my stay here, and would recommend others to give this motel a try as well.

Stunning views from our Executive Spa Studio We really enjoyed our stay here and opted for a front view Executive Spa studio and stayed in #24. As soon as we entered the studio our jaws dropped because the views are so stunning! As it was end of June there was snow on the mountains. We were also lucky to be blessed with excellent weather. The studio was lovely and warm and bed was medium/soft and comfortable. I loved having a kitchenette to make a simple dinner at night and a bacon and egg breakfast in the morning. There’s a microwave, toaster, kettle plus 2 electric rings to cook on. Tea and coffee sachets are provided and a small carton of milk and pepper and salt. There was no underfloor heating in our bathroom but the spa bath and shower was excellent. Mt Cook village is tiny. So don’t expect shops or petrol station etc. But the drive there and back is amazing. Plus the main reason we stayed there was to walk the Hooker Valley Track. The scenery is out of this world and as the sun was shining the lakes looked turquoise. It’s a 3hr walk there and back and so worth it. Wrap up warm in winter! Don’t hesitate to book here, you are sure to enjoy yourselves.

Totally recommend this place for a stay! The room was really comfortable with a king sized bed and a well equipped kitchen. Excellent location with beautiful views of snow capped mountains and valley. Easy access to the information centre and not far from the hermitage for dinner or a drink.

Good option to be close to trails in Mt. Cook We weren't able to get into The Hermitage and this was a good option to still be close by. Rooms were clean. Felt that it was a bit pricey for the accommodation, but you're paying for location, which was excellent.
